Welcome to My Art Studio
I am a Russian artist who has lived and worked in the city of Sacramento, United States, since 1990. My interests in painting are very broad from landscapes, seascapes, beach scenes, wildlife, nudes, portraits, and still life. Even though my work style of painting varies, impressionist paintings are my favorite by far. Nature inspires me. I get moved by the harmony of colors, sounds and of the water, the magic of the sky, and the beauty of landscape. I don’t limit myself in what I can do. I am always exploring, studying, learning, admiring, and evolving.
I work with different types of art mediums and materials including non-traditional. However, my favorite medium is on oil painting on either canvas or wood panels always completed with varnishing to protect, even out, and improve the aesthetic finish. All my paintings are signed and have a certificate of authenticity.

Art School
The Drawing Lessons will take you from having little knowledge in drawing to creating advanced art and having a deep understanding of drawing fundamentals. This is your track to obtaining drawing skills like you always knew you should have! Whether for your own projects or to draw for other people.
The studio is located in the city of Sacramento and most of the classes are held in Russian. But there may be options. If you have questions about availability, feel free to ASK QUESTIONS
Photography
Digital is way more convenient but film is better for artists. I still shoot digital as records of my friends and family, not as a photography, since I concern about the aesthetic difference between them. Many people says that they can look almost the same with the current film simulation plug ins, but I can see the difference and I simply prefer the real film look.
Posters
The term "Poster art" describes a general category of printed 2-D artwork which is designed to be affixed to a vertical surface. Its evolution and development closely linked to advances in printmaking processes, notably lithography and offset litho, which in turn are strongly influenced by photographic and software techniques. Posters may consist exclusively of images, or images and text. In rare cases it may consist entirely of textual graphics.
